brittana hiatus challenge
→ 10. heather’s strongest moment
Heather Fucking Morris, man. For someone who claims that she can’t act, she’s amazing. Heather is constantly giving us viewers things that the writers severely lack. This scene is the best example. Not because Heather is really crying in this scene but it’s the build up. Obviously this is the Brittana breakup. At this point, Brittany wasn’t really expecting Santana to break up with her. I think in her mind she was thinking that Santana just wanted to talk to her about her comment the night before when she said “you left me behind and it hurt.” So Brittany comes in the room not really knowing what to expect and then Santana sings her this beautiful love song and this is when Heather does her magic. In the beginning she’s still trying to figure out what’s going on so she looks pretty blank. Then she relaxes a bit and smiles sweetly at Santana as she sings. There’s a moment in the song when Heather/Brittany’s whole demeanor changes. When Naya/Santana sings the line "when everything was slipping right out of our hands" Heather/Brittany starts to get emotional. This is because at that moment, Brittany knew what was about to happen. She got it. She knew where Santana was headed. In come the water works. Heather literally looks like a kicked puppy in that moment and I just want to wrap her in a blanket and cuddle her.
When the song ends, Santana says “I haven’t been a good girlfriend to you.” You can see Heather/Brittany exhale slowly and gulp. Like that’s her way of saying “Yup. I know what’s coming.” (see 7th gif) And then Heather does an amazing job of letting the viewers know that Brittany does not want this when Santana says “Let’s just do the mature thing here, okay?” And Heather shakes her head know giving the viewers insight into her head. Heather only has like 6 lines in this scene and she performs it with such emotion. She doesn’t need words to tell her viewers how she’s feeling. It’s all over her face. Heather Morris is extraordinary. All the awards.

Heather Morris in Glee
Julia Roberts, Gwyneth Paltrow and Chiwetel Ejiofor are to star in a remake of Argentinian thriller, The Secrets In Their Eyes.
The original was about a retired lawyer trying to get closure on an un solved case - the remake moves the story to the US with Ejiofor as a former MI5 agent.
If you haven’t seen the original you should seek it out - it has what I think has one of the greatest shots in cinema, which involves the camera flying into a football stadium.
